The unit of work entitled Primal Objectivities is a recording of conversations between ephemeral sculptures.
The main theme is a play between primal and archetypal symbols found in everyday objects and a reflection of a primal state of life in a modern reality.
The materials used come from a large personal archive and once photographed the sculpture seizes to exist, the objects rearranged and returned to the archive, only a timeless memory of the assemblage remains.
The objects used for the ephemeral sculptures range from edible vegetables, bread etc , photographs, basketballs, animal bones, feathers, tools and many more. Food and household items refer to nurture, consumption, family figures. There are items referring to cultural trends, nature, violence, comfort..
The ephemeral sculpture photography is combined with drawings and sketches, original work of the artist, created using different ways to mark the paper ranging from ink drawings to burning and piercing.
These intimate drawings represent the personal. The work suggests reading the personal as the collective following the process of familiarization with objects, symbols and memories.
